Nicole Taylor Obituary: Taylor Red Singer Remembered by Her Sisters at 35

Nicole Taylor, a singer and content creator with the country trio Taylor Red, died on September 28, 2026, at age 35.

The Nashville resident performed alongside her identical triplet sisters, Nika and Natalie Taylor. Her death was confirmed on the band’s official memorial page, where her sisters shared a personal tribute to the woman they called their leader and best friend.

Her Sisters Share Their Grief

Nika and Natalie announced Nicole’s death in a November 2 video. According to Country Rebel, they said she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in 2022 and experienced two recurrences.

They remembered how she leaned on her faith throughout her illness and continued encouraging her family, even as they faced difficult news about her health during her years of treatment.

Nicole was the oldest of the three sisters. In their written tribute, Nika and Natalie described the closeness of their relationship and the place she held in their lives. “She was our leader and our best friend,” they wrote.

The sisters also spoke about their Christian faith and their belief that they would see Nicole again in Heaven. Their words offered a personal picture of the bond behind Taylor Red, a group whose members shared both a family history and a working life.

A Music Career Built Together

Nicole, Nika and Natalie grew up in South Mississippi before making Nashville their home. Together, they built Taylor Red around country music, sibling harmonies and a shared ability to play several instruments. The group’s official biography lists guitar, banjo, fiddle and mandolin among their musical skills.

Their career took them well beyond their hometown. Taylor Red performed more than 1,000 live shows across the United States and abroad, including appearances in Norway and Canada. They also opened for artists such as Amy Grant, Josh Turner, Diamond Rio and Charlie Daniels.

The sisters reached another audience through social media, where their videos became an important part of their work. Their song “Country Money” gained attention on TikTok and appeared on Spotify editorial playlists.

National Sonic advertising campaigns also introduced the trio to viewers outside country music. Nicole’s public life included performing, creating online content and radio hosting, reflecting the different ways she worked alongside her sisters and connected with audiences.

Family and Memorial Arrangements

Nicole Helen Taylor was born on March 18, 1991. Her published obituary names her parents, Mark and Sherry Taylor, among her survivors, along with her brother, Mark Allen Taylor Jr., his wife Victoria, and her sisters.

She also leaves nieces and nephews John Mark, Eliza, James, Catherine and Wesley Cole Taylor, as well as extended family. Her grandparents, Thomas and Dorothy Pierce and Leonard and Barbara Taylor, preceded her in death.

The obituary listed a funeral service for October 2, 2026, at Woodard Funeral Home in Westmoreland, Tennessee, with Reverend Doug Pierce officiating and burial to follow at Crestview Memory Gardens.

The band’s memorial page confirms that the family has held a private funeral. It also directs those wishing to honor Nicole to a memorial donation page for Samaritan’s Purse, described as one of her favorite charities.

For Nika and Natalie, the tribute remains centered on their sister: the oldest triplet, their trusted leader and the best friend with whom they shared their music and everyday lives.
